The wavy lines on the outermost frame are a motif representing flowing water and waves.

The image of repeating waves represents the hope for abundant water and the continuation of peaceful lives. and the red and green flower-like patterns are said to be wolf paw prints and are believed to be a talisman protecting against evil.
