Persian Gabbeh Kashkuri approx. 117cm x 184cm

A hand-woven Persian Gabbeh rug made in the Shiraz region of Persia.
Because it is of fine quality. it is made using the finest wool. which is of higher quality than regular gabbeh. and is a type of gabbeh with a tightly woven construction.

The base color is a gentle shade made from natural. undyed wool.
Looking out the window. you can see three birds playing in the soft sunlight.

When weaving the pattern. no black was used but different tones of green were used. which. combined with the ivory base color. gives it an even softer feel.
