This is a hand-woven tribal rug made by the Baluchi people of Afghanistan.

The base color is salmon pink. and the entire piece is woven with detailed. continuous geometric patterns.
The pile is short. giving it a clean look.

Hand-woven carpets have a direction in which the pile flows. called with the grain and against the grain. and the way the color shades appear changes depending on the direction in which it is laid.
